The way we listen has a great impact on how to deal with disasters in life. In Mark chapter four Jesus tells a parable about a farmer who planted seed that landed on different types of soils. The parable has a lot to do with the way we hear.

He went on to say, “Pay attention to what you’re listening to! Knowledge will be measured out to you by the measure of attention you give. This is the way knowledge increases.”
