Welcome to Coastal in Pitt Meadows!
Coastal Church is a collection of individuals from all walks of life, and together we’re embarking on life’s greatest journey – following Jesus Christ. We’re not a collection of perfect people and we’re certainly not the perfect church, but we’re passionate about growing closer to God and putting to action the principles laid out in the bible. Whether you’re interested in growing in your faith or are completely new to Christianity, we want to extend to you an invitation to our weekend service at Pitt Meadows.

Getting started at Coastal Church
We want to help you get to know God better and enable you to become who He’s created you to be. At Coastal, there are many opportunities for you to do that. Attending a weekend service, joining a life group, serving on one of our volunteer teams, exploring Christianity through the Alpha Course, or building your spiritual foundation through Abundant Life, all are ways for you to grow in your spiritual journey. You may be asking the question where do I start? Here are a few starting points if you’re new to our church:
1. Our Weekend Service:
We would love to have you to come join us for our Sunday service, 9:30 AM at the Cineplex Odeon Meadowtown Cinemas in Pitt Meadows (19800 Lougheed Highway, Pitt Meadows) . You can expect a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with relevant messages that are rooted in biblical principles. A typical service lasts 1 hour & 15 minutes, and in addition to a message from our Pastor, our services also include an amazing time of worship and post-service prayer.
2. Life Groups:
A Life Group is a small gathering (between 6 to 12 people) that meets on a regular basis to ‘do life’ together. It is an effective way for everyone to feel personally connected to the church community and to learn and grow our faith in an intimate and supportive environment. To learn more about life groups in your area, and how to get involved please visit our Life Group Directory.
3. Church Membership & Volunteering:
The Connect Courses are a four part membership course that will make it easier and faster for you to learn more about Coastal Church, and to find out more about yourself and your ministry within the local church. It is also a necessary step towards getting involved by volunteering or leading/hosting a Life Group. Please contact Frank Peyton to learn more about the Connect Courses in Pitt Meadows.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why Pitt Meadows?
There are a number of families and individuals from the Coastal Church family who are living close to our new Pitt Meadows location. The additional 5th service will allow these people to reduce their commute time and get involved in a service closer to their home.
2. Who will speak?
Either Pastor Dave or Cheryl will be speaking at the Pitt Meadows location on any given Sunday.
3. Will it have the same DNA?
Of course. The Pitt Meadows location will not be a different church, it’s simply an additional service in a different location. It will very much still feel like Coastal Church downtown.
4. Will it have children’s ministry?
There is plenty of space for children of all ages, and our team will be working hard to make this environment where parents are comfortable bringing their children to.
5. Do I have to attend if I live in that region?
Not at all. If you enjoy commuting downtown for one of our weekend services, please don’t feel obligated to move to the Pitt Meadows location. We encourage you to find a service & location that suits you best.
